The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial, operational, resident relations, site staff supervision, and budgetary aspects of the site. Needs to have the ability to process tax-credit recertifications and interview residents for eligibility. The candidate must be organized and timely in processing all paperwork. Must be able to clearly communicate in a positive manner with the residents, operate the property in accordance with the Company policies and procedures manual, and the management plan for the property.
High School/GED required with a minimum of two years’ experience as a Property Manager. Strong management, leasing and marketing skills are critical. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Yardi experience is a must. Ability to read and interpret a variety of manuals and documents. Knowledge of state and federal regulations. Tax-credit and Section 8 experience combined with strong operations background are necessities and critical for this position. Responsible for building and maintaining a positive relationships with the residents, community, and city agencies.
