The Role. The Resident Relations Manager must deliver world-class customer service. The Resident Relations Manager coordinates all resident events and programs, and coordinates with Service Team to ensure service requests are scheduled and follow up is conducted with residents. Assist Leasing Team and Service Team to ensure resident satisfaction.
The Key Responsibilities.
Full scale management and organization of existing and future Resident services offered at the asset
Responsible for administrating and updating the property website and social media with new content, photos, and applicable items
Active management of the planning and organizing of all events held for the community
Firm understanding and adherence to budgetary responsibility and impact to property and asset
Project management knowledge with community events while maintaining within and or below budget expectations
Assist Service Department with scheduling resident appointments for service requests for elevated resident experience
Responsible for service request follow-ups with residents
Assist Business Manager and Service Supervisor with resident announcements regarding large community projects to ensure best in class communication
Monitor survey results, including Kingsley portal, and provide follow-ups with residents when applicable
Assist Business Manager with management of online reviews, monitor/update social media accounts
Manage website maintenance and maintains accurate records as needed
Ensure all Renters' Insurance policies are current, and follow up with residents if update is needed
Assist Leasing team with communications with residents and future residents when needed
Ability to trouble shooting IT matters through general systems knowledge
Respond to resident requests and work with residents to minimize and resolve resident problems and complaints.
Consistency in full circle communication with Residents, Vendors, Team Members, and leadership to ensure issues are resolved and customer satisfaction is met
Monitor, document, and follow up with all residents, vendors and team members as well as reporting up to leadership when appropriate
Adhere to company best practices and federal Fair Housing requirements during all phases of the prospect/resident lifecycle
Oversee and maintain company customer service standards.
Any other tasks assigned or directed
Exemplary customer relations and communication both in person and via phone/email - including written and verbal correspondence required
Able to operate basic office equipment including copiers, fax machines, filing cabinets, enter data into a computer, and create printed reports
Possess thorough knowledge of the competitive market and amenities surrounding the property
Ability to work through difficult situations and maintain positive interactions with prospective residents, Alliance team members, contractors and vendors
Possess basic bookkeeping knowledge and perform intermediate mathematical functions.
Ability to efficiently operate software's such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Attention to detail and possess ability to follow up
Ability to work a schedule during normal hours and that may be other than Monday- Friday, 9-6. Work in excess of 40 hours per week is likely
Consistent, regular and in person attendance during assigned hours at the workplace are required

High school diploma or equivalent
Outstanding customer service skills
Knowledge of computer operating systems (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Associates or Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 1-year previous experience in property management, or industry related field
