US Residential has an excellent opportunity for an engaging, forward thinking and energetic Assistant Property Manager to join our team at The Pointe at Irving Park.
Our Assistant Property Managers provide support to the Property Manager and assume a leadership role in their absence. Together with the Property Manager, this role is responsible for the overall operation, and the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a well-managed, well-maintained Community. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and federal, state, and local laws; maintains acceptable and supportive environment for all residents; manages site staff and their duties, interacts with and supervises vendors.
1+ year experience at the Assistant Manager level or above within the property management industry preferred.
Prior leasing experience preferred.
Working knowledge of principles and practices of property management record keeping with an understanding of resident ledger analysis.
Working knowledge of 3-day notice procedures and strong collections experience required.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft software such as Excel, Word, Publisher and Outlook email; proficiency with the YARDI Software system preferred.
The ability to develop a sense of community amongst staff and residents.

Strong ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, including excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Dependable and punctual with flexibility to work weekends.
Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license is required.
